How Salvo Glad Hand Interlock Works
Step 2 - Insert key into Control Panel.
The key is inserted into the Control Panel, which automatically releases the door lock inside the building.
Step 3 - Dock attendant unlocks the door.
A green light, on the lock, signals the dock attendant it is safe to open the door and can begin loading. Once the door is unlocked the key is trapped in the panel outside and the light turns to red signaling the driver not to depart. Once the door is locked again the key is released and the Salvo can be removed.
